Day 5- yet another busy day in Bulgaria!

This morning, we met up with Brian Davis, his mom Tamera and his newly adopted son, Jordan. We went to the outdoor market area. market
Today was actually the first day that it was cold enough to need our hats and jackets in the morning. Though, it quickly warmed up by lunch! The weather has been BEAUTIFUL this week!PC014352

Here’s Meredith’s “proof I was in Bulgaria” photos.
See the red dot? That’s Meredith! lol
(the pink dot is Annikah)

Just a random “isn’t my daughter cute?” photo…..PC014373
(we’ve taught her to do knuckle bumps!)

This afternoon, Annikah had her medical exam that’s required by the US Embassy. She weighed 18kg!!!!!
That puts her in the same weight range as 2 of my boys (who are much older than her). She was 101cm(almost 40 inches) tall. She’s HUGE (in comparison to my boys at her age)!!!!

After the medical exam, we went to the US Embassy. No photos from that part of the day, as no photos are allowed anywhere near the embassy.
But, the paper work has been signed and the visa will be ready by 1500 tomorrow afternoon. That is the LAST step in the adoption process.

After all of that, we came back to the hotel and ate dinner with the Davis crew AND the Rist family. Their new Bulgarian daughter will be joining their family on Tuesday (they’re from Canada, so their process is a little bit different).

Random Annikah cuteness:
