Today was another busy day in Sofia! We spent most of the day with Tanja and her family.
This morning, we went to the private therapy center and met Tanja and her son, Jayden, there. Jayden had a therapy session today. Annikah ended up joining in and worked on stringing beads with the therapist. My girl has a pretty darn good pincher grasp and she did VERY good with watching and mimicking what the therapist asked her to do.
After the therapy appointment, we went and visited the private Bulgarian Christian school that Tanja’s oldest 2 kids attend. We met the director and got to see her son’s 2nd grade classroom. The school accepts children with special needs and currently has students with several different disabilities, including Autism.
Next, Tanja’s oldest son had a Spanish lesson. Meredith, Annikah and I spent that hour exploring the HUGE toy store in Sofia, which is accurately named JUMBO.
On Friday, we’re going to IKEA. Yes, they have an IKEA in Sofia!
Tanja cooked a delicious lasagna for dinner. She also had salad and pumpkin pie. Annikah ate like a champ!!
Tomorrow is Annikah’s medical exam and the visa interview. I’m not sure what else we’ll be doing. But, we’re certainly staying busy!

So precious! Love the pictures of her. BTW, how in the world did I miss the IKEA?! LOL. Thanks for sharing.
She is just precious...She seems very easy going and able to go with the flow. Glad to hear things are going so well

She looks amazing! I can't believe how comfortable she looks in each situation. Looking forward to seeing her home with her sibs soon! :o)
(And I'm so glad you and Meredith have each other and get to share super special times like this... a little jealous over here...)
